ALEXANDRIA (July 24, 2019) — Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance (CLEDA) today announced, in collaboration with the Regional Economic Alliance of Louisiana (REAL), it will host the fourth annual Statewide Economic Development Summit presented by Entergy on October 22-23, 2019.
“This event is an annual opportunity for stakeholders vested in economic development and the future of Louisiana to partner together to chart a path for our state and business economy,” said Jim Clinton, president and CEO of CLEDA. “We are excited to be expanding to a two-day format to allow for deeper conversations around economic development, community and placemaking, and people and talent.”
The two-day Summit will take place at L’Auberge Casino Hotel in Baton Rouge, featuring a Gubernatorial Candidate Forum on the first evening and a keynote presentation by Bruce Katz, author of The New Localism, on the second day. The goal of the Statewide Economic Development Summit is to strengthen the state’s economy through shared ideas and business practices.

Early-bird registration will be available through August 1, at which point prices will increase.
