Fresh Central Certified
was designed to unify and expand the Fresh Central brand and raise the professional standards of our region’s farmers markets. In its first phase, the program offered group training and capacity building for farmers market leaders and is facilitating collaboration among our market communities. In its next phase, Fresh Central Certified
will work with individual markets to achieve benchmarks and operate with gold standards.
The Fresh Central Certified Toolkit
was designed to accompany the inaugural Fresh Central Certified Institute training and networking event. This toolkit is organized by messaging, mission, measurement, and management (an adaptation of marketumbrella.org’s Four M’s strategy), which is an approach to structuring the diverse role of a market manager.
