Acquire and apply the knowledge they need to grow their companies. We use a multi-faceted approach that includes coaching,expert technical assistance, classroom learning, web-based instruction and other support to deliver the right content at the right time.

Our clients are evaluated to determine development priorities, while our BAS coaches help design customized learning plans for each entrepreneur.While BAS does not charge entrepreneurs for services provided,we expect our clients to also be willing to invest in their own development.

To date, our program participants have helped create 968 new jobs and generated $174 million of increased revenue! 

Funding from The Rapides Foundation and the State of Louisiana’s Office of Community Development makes our work possible. BAS is managed by CLEDA.

QuickBooks setup and training, financial assessment, process improvement, and marketing plan development. Clients pay 50% of the cost for consultants which is matched by BAS.

BAS clients in the one-on-one coaching program also meet monthly with their BAS coach and teammates. The monthly meetings provide training on business topics. During team meetings, entrepreneurs brainstorm ways to resolve problems, overcome obstacles and increase their market share.
