Economic Development Organizations

Many organizations within and outside Central Louisiana play roles in helping to build the region's economic prosperity. Some, like CAP, the various Chambers of Commerce in the region, the Louisiana Department of Economic Development, and CLEDA act directly to recruit, expand, or create businesses in Cenla. Many others are just as important to the economic development process, but the actions they take are indirect.
 
For example, each educational institution in the region plays a crucial if indirect role by building Cenla's knowledge base. CAP seeks to partner with any organization that can add value to the Cenla region. Here we list and link to many of the organizations that play direct roles in economic development.
