Assessment of the Capital Market in Central Louisiana is a report compiled by Dr. Deborah Markley, RUPRI Center for Rural Entrepreneurship and Dr. David Barkley, Clemson University, for Regional Technology Strategies and the Rapides Foundation in September 2008.
The report takes an analytical view of the important strides the nine parish region that makes up Central Louisiana made in embracing entrepreneurship as an economic development strategy Capital Market, evidenced by the implementation of the Entrepreneurial League System® (ELS) and continued leadership by the Rapides Foundation to build an overall regional entrepreneurship system. The assessment of the capital market in Central Louisiana is one more step toward expanding knowledge of how to transform the regional economy through the development and support of entrepreneurs.
