Entrepreneurial League System® (ELS)
What is the Entrepreneurial League System® of Central Louisiana?
The Entrepreneurial League System® is a skills-based, intensive coaching approach to
entrepreneurship success. Developed by Dr. Gregg LIchtenstein, ELS begins with a close
evaluation of an entrepreneur's particular skills. Then, based on that evaluation, the
entrepreneur is assigned to a performance coach who will help support the entrepreneur's
development of the critical additional skills that are needed to take the business to the next
level. Each performance coach is a skilled, experienced businessperson.
The Rapides Foundation launched the Entrepreneurial League System® of Central Louisiana on July
1, 2006. ELS of Central Louisiana continues to be funded by The Rapides Foundation and is
managed by the Cenla Advantage Partnership (CAP).
The ELS coaching program is tailored to meet the unique needs of entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs
work intensively with performance coaches in weekly one-on-one sessions and monthly team
meetings with peers. They also attend bi-annual large group sessions comprised of entrepreneurs
from other teams possessing different skill levels. These settings offer opportunities to learn
from peers, as well as from more experienced individuals regarding advancement to the next level
of skill and performance.
ELS is one of three primary entrepreneurial support and development systems offered by Cenla
Advantage Partnership.
