LSU Tigers get ready for Jan 9 championship game
LSU’s Tigers wasted no time getting back to playing shape this week. They will play No. 2 Alabama in the BCS national championship game on Jan. 9, in New Orleans. LSU wins SEC championship !
Tyrann Mathieu turned in an MVP performance when the No. 1 ranked Louisiana State Tigers played Georgia for the SEC Championship game. LSU, with thirteen wins and no losses advanced to a spot in the BCS championship game in New Orleans. The Tigers opponent will be announced later, but SEC West rival and No. 2 Alabama, who lost to the Tigers 9-6 in overtime a month ago, is expected to be their opponent. Full article.

LSU completed the first half of its schedule with a perfect 6-0 record having hardly broken a sweat after a 41-11 thumping of No. 17 Florida in breezy Tiger Stadium.
