About ELS

What is the Entrepreneurial League System® of Central Louisiana?

The Entrepreneurial League System® (ELS) of Central Louisiana is designed and managed by entrepreneurs and for entrepreneurs. It organizes business people into teams according to their skill levels. Based on the farm team system in baseball, entrepreneurs are grouped as Rookies, A, AA and AAA. Coaches at each level are experienced entrepreneurs who can help develop the skills necessary to achieve a higher level of success.

ELS was created by Collaborative Strategies LLC and brought to Central Louisiana by The Rapides Foundation. The ELS in Central Louisiana is managed by the Cenla Advantage Partnership.

The results of ELS are measurable. In the first two years of ELS operations in Central Louisiana, 60 participating entrepreneurs increased sales by more than $18 million and created 198 new jobs. Member businesses currently have more than 600 employees.

ELS is open to individuals in the nine parishes served by The Rapides Foundation. For additional information, contact ELS General Manager Gary Perkins at (318)880-6332 or gperkins@cenla.org.
