Differences in Productivity among Skill Levels can be huge

I’d like to share an interesting example about the differences in productivity among entrepreneurs operating at different levels in our ladder of skills.

What do we mean by skill level and why should you care?

Skill is defined as the ability to perform a particular set of tasks, and to do so at a high level of performance. After 25 years of working with all kinds of entrepreneurs in all industries and at all organizational levels (Fortune 500 firms to small high tech and mom-and-pop businesses), we have noticed a pattern: there is a ladder of skills, as described in the following chart.
